Your child will be intellectually engaged daily while having a fun experience — 3 hours of enrichment tailored to their level by degreed teachers. Here's the detail behind that.
Our staff are former teachers, college graduates, and parents with over 20 years of combined experience with children. We keep class groupings fluid so students are challenged at every ability level, and our groups stay small — on average 10:1, never more than 10 students per degreed teacher. That means real, personable, meaningful instruction, with high emphasis on critical thinking, science, literacy, and mathematics.
We're changing the narrative of traditional classroom learning. We believe in hands-on learning, holistic tutoring, and community building with our families. Alchemy Kids Learning was created by a mom and former teacher, so we always have you in mind.
The biggest difference is our curriculum — we collaborate with teachers and parents to make sure your child gets everything they need. Unlike traditional programs, we incorporate project-based learning, and our themes change monthly for #STEMFRIDAY.
We're also the only program around that gives back to our families — your child can earn gift cards to their favorite places or games simply by doing the right thing, completing homework, and finishing their reading log.
We perform individual assessments at the start of our enrichment STEAM program, and the results speak for themselves. Consider us the village every family needs.
Yes — every teacher holds a degree, is CPR certified, and is background checked yearly.
As of now, we serve Pre-K through 5th grade for our homework assistance, tutoring, and #STEMFRIDAYS program.
Your child will be intellectually engaged daily while having fun — for 3 hours daily, students focus on skills-enrichment activities tailored specifically to their level by degreed teachers.
Alchemy Kids are taught to be innovators and critical thinkers. We strongly encourage independence, life skills, problem-solving abilities, acts of service, and curiosity.
Each student also has access to a virtual classroom full of fun activities hand-selected by a degreed teacher. Our small teacher-to-student ratios guarantee meaningful, personal interactions.
Yes — we currently offer full-time, part-time, #STEMFRIDAYS, or drop-in options. We have several payment plans to help you save; see our Plans & Pricing page for details.
Tutoring sessions: We're conveniently located inside your child's school. After dismissal, your child reports to our designated area.
Summer camp: We're outside, not in! Locations change yearly — last year we spent zero time in a classroom, with the rest of our time spent out in nature and on field trips.
After enrollment, each parent is notified of the designated pick-up area for their school — similar to a traditional carpool line. You pull up, text your child's teacher to notify them of your arrival, show ID, and we bring your child out to you.
We have a strict no bullying policy. Our approach teaches students to handle conflict positively, building confident, capable leaders. Conduct meant to control or dominate others will not be tolerated.
Any incident results in parents being notified. A second offense means an immediate conference with the student and parent present. A third offense results in immediate dismissal, with no refunds — families are still billed for the duration of the month, and the plan is cancelled for the following month.
Absolutely not. Alchemy Kids Learning is a prep program designed for all students, not just those who need extra help. While we provide strong support in literacy, math, and homework completion, our focus is helping students stay ahead and excel.
We support TAG (gifted) students, student-athletes, and learners who thrive with structure and enrichment. Our program blends academics with hands-on learning, critical thinking, and confidence-building activities.
At AKL, students are challenged daily, engaged in meaningful enrichment, and leave with their work completed — so families can enjoy stress-free, quality time at home. We're truly a one-stop experience for academic excellence, enrichment, and fun. ✨

All annual enrollment subscriptions and payment plans conclude on May 31st.
Because Alchemy Kids Learning is a small-group program with limited enrollment and highly sought-after spaces, we maintain a strict cancellation policy to allow adequate time for staffing, planning, and offering openings to families on our waiting list.
If you wish to withdraw your child, a written cancellation notice must be submitted by email to ownerofalchemy@gmail.com at least 30 calendar days before your child's last day of attendance.
Yes. Extended late pickups are subject to a $25 late fee for the first 15 minutes, then $1 per minute thereafter. Please notify staff of your expected arrival time whenever possible.
If this becomes a recurring issue, your child may be dismissed from the program. No refunds will be given.
No — each camper is required to bring their own snack or lunch and beverage.

Because we believe in quality over quantity. Each week is a specialty-themed immersive experience with hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and meaningful field trips. Four weeks lets us stay fresh, intentional, and impactful.
Themes are immersive, not classroom-heavy — last year, students spent almost zero time sitting at desks.

AKL Summer Camp is a limited-enrollment, highly curated academic and enrichment experience. Each child's placement is intentionally reserved, materials are secured in advance, and partnerships are confirmed prior to the start of camp.
For this reason, all camp investments are final and non-refundable. Should a scheduling conflict arise, your investment may be transferred to another available camp week, pending space and administrative approval.
Enrollment signifies a commitment to the full camp experience and to the excellence we prepare for each scholar. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to an extraordinary summer.
